This year we are offering this unique opportunity to the Year 6 students that will be joining us here at Backwell School in September 2022. \nThe three days are run by our partner PH Sports\, who alongside some Backwell School Staff will introduce the students to Backwell School. Students will be encouraged to try new activities\, make new friends and most importantly have an action packed and fun time that will increase their confidence. \nWhen is Explore?\nExplore is a three day event running from Monday 25 July – Wednesday 27 July 2022.\nEach day starts at 9.30am and finishes at 3.15pm. \nWhat are the lunch arrangements?\nStudents will need to bring a packed lunch with them each day and plenty to drink.\nLunch will be an hour each day with activities running over lunchtimes and if the weather is good it will be outside in a supervised area. \nPlease remember to bring a sun hat and sun cream. \nWhat will happen each day?\nEach day the students\, within their activity groups\, will rotate through the different activities.\nBy the end of the 3 days they will have taken part in every activity. \nStudents will be in activity groups and based on tutor group allocations we will endeavour to place students with their new classmates.
