So… what did the kids actually get up to this Easter?

Only the best weeks ever at PH Camps! 🎉
If your little ones came home full of stories, lots of crafts and asking when they can go back—yep, that was us. Easter at PH Camps was packed with energy, creativity, and so many moments that had the kids (and our team!) grinning from ear to ear.
Mornings kicked off with laughs and teamwork
Every day started with group games that got everyone moving and bonding right away. The kids got stuck into:
- Wizards, Dwarfs, and Giants (wildly silly and surprisingly strategic!)
- Extreme Rock, Paper, Scissors – louder and more fun than the original
- And the always-entertaining Human Knot (if you’ve heard about it, you’ll understand the laughter)
By the time the first activity rolled around, new friendships were already forming.
Sports, sports, and even more sports
There was no shortage of action! Whether kids were mad for football, loved getting stuck into dodgeball, or fancied giving gymnastics a go, there was something for everyone.
The rotation of sports kept things exciting, with plenty of variety throughout the week, including:
- Football, cricket, dodgeball, hockey
- Gymnastics for the flexible, fearless, and fabulous!
The alternative sports? Honestly, next level
If your child came home talking about laser tag battles, archery showdowns, or throwing axes like a Viking—yep, that happened. And yes, it was totally safe and supervised.
They also got to try:
- Skateboarding, goalball, rock-it-ball, indoboarding
- And the ever-popular Nerf wars (foam darts flying everywhere—we loved it)
Every day had a new surprise, and the kids were absolutely buzzing from the mix of adrenaline and adventure.
Arts & crafts galore
When it was time to wind down (a bit), we got seriously creative.
We made:
- Peek-a-boo eggs
- Bunny bookmarks
- Tulip origami
- And yes… Easter slime (because no camp is complete without at least one glittery mess)
Each day ended with proud smiles and colourful creations making their way into backpacks (or worn straight out the door!).
The Easter Egg Hunt? An egg-cellent success
Some of our camps were lucky enough to get a visit from the Easter Bunny 🐰—which caused serious excitement! But don’t worry if he didn’t hop your way…
At Whitchurch Camp, we brought the sparkle with face painting, which quickly turned into a rainbow of bunnies, tigers, and superheroes. Let’s just say: no one missed out on the fun!
Big games, big laughs to end the day
Afternoons wrapped up with whole-group games—perfect for burning off the last bits of energy. Some camp favourites included:
- Capture the Flag
- Parachute Games
- Splat
- And a few silly classics like Farmyard Animals (you haven’t lived until you’ve heard a group of kids mooing in unison)
Already excited for the next one?
We are too 😄
Thanks to everyone who joined us this Easter. Whether it was your child’s first PH Camps or their fifth, we absolutely loved having them with us. Want to be first to know about our next camp dates?
