Roll up, roll up! The Big Top may be packed away, but what an incredible circus-themed May Half Term we’ve had!  

A huge thank you to all the families who joined us for a week full of fun, laughter, and show-stopping action. The children were the real stars of the show! 

From crafty clowns to daring games, every day brought new chances to learn, laugh, and let imaginations run wild. 

Circus Crafts That Stole the Show 🎨

Our creative corner was bursting with colour and sparkle as the children brought the circus to life with their hands and hearts: 

• Paint-a-Pony Carousel Horses – beautifully decorated rides ready for the big parade! 

• Jazzy Jester Hats & Crazy Clown Hats & Ties – wacky, wonderful, and worn with pride. 

• Design-a-Mask Carnival Faces – lions, ringmasters, and funny faces galore! 

• Graffiti Zone Signs & “Welcome to the Carnival!” Frames – turning the space into a full-blown circus tent. 

• Rainmaker Shakers & Bounce ‘n’ Build Juggling Balls – perfect for our mini-performers. 

• Team Spirit Festival Flags – adding festive flair to our circus arena. 

• Knock It Down! Tin Can Alley & Jump Through the Ring of Fire! – circus fun with a carnival twist! 

Every craft was a masterpiece, and the kids loved turning our space into a magical, mini circus. 

Circus Skills & Spectacular Sports 🎯

Alongside all the creativity, our circus ring was alive with energy thanks to a fantastic range of fun and inclusive sports: 

• Axe Throwing (foam, of course!) & Archery – for our strongman challengers 

• Laser Tag & Nerf Guns – thrilling action under the big top 

• Indoboarding & Rock-it-Ball – balance and speed just like real acrobats 

• American Football & Disc Golf – big-top-worthy coordination and teamwork 

•  Goalball, Boccia, & New Age Kurling – fun for everyone, centre stage! 

Each activity lets the children explore new skills, build confidence, and most importantly, have an absolute blast!
