PH Camps 2025: A Year of Adventure, Creativity and Fun
2025 was an incredible year at PH Camps. From the wintery February half-term to a spooktacular Halloween, children explored, created, and played their way through a year packed with laughter, imagination, and memorable moments. Every session brought something new, inspiring curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
February Half-Term: A Winter of Wonder
February kicked off our year with a burst of energy and creativity. Children arrived excited to try new activities, make friends, and explore themed challenges that sparked curiosity and imagination.
Children had the chance to dive into different worlds each day. Some travelled to faraway lands in “Around the World” activities, learning about cultures while taking part in fun games. Others cast spells in “Witches & Wizards,” explored the mysteries of the universe in “Space,” or celebrated the changing seasons in “Four Seasons.” Every activity encouraged teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving.
Creativity was at the heart of the half-term. Children designed rockets and starry night paintings, brought favourite TV and film characters to life through drawings, masks, and mini movie posters, and even made DIY medals and sports jerseys. Each craft allowed children to take home a piece of their imagination while learning new skills.
Special moments included the excitement of Nerf battles, trying archery for the first time, and laughter-filled team games. By the end of February, children had grown in confidence, creativity, and social skills, ready for the adventures ahead.
April: Easter Camp
April brought springtime magic and excitement as children returned for Easter camp. The week was packed with energy, creativity, and moments that had everyone grinning from ear to ear.
Children explored different worlds through themed activities. Some joined in “Wizards, Dwarfs and Giants,” a wild and strategic game full of laughter, while others tackled “Extreme Rock, Paper, Scissors,” a louder and sillier twist on the classic favourite. There was even “Human Knot,” which had children working together and giggling as they untangled themselves. Every activity encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and fun.
Creativity was at the heart of the week. Children made peek-a-boo eggs, bunny bookmarks, tulip origami, and glittery Easter slime. Face painting added extra excitement, with bunnies, tigers, and superheroes appearing across the camp, leaving everyone with colourful creations and proud smiles.
Special moments included the thrill of the Easter Egg Hunt and the joy of seeing children make new friends while laughing through group games. Afternoons wrapped up with parachute games, capture the flag, and silly favourites like “Farmyard Animals,” making it a truly memorable Easter camp.
May Half-Term: A Circus Spectacular
May half-term was a whirlwind of colour, laughter, and imagination as children stepped into a week full of circus-themed fun. From the moment they arrived, it was clear that this would be a week to remember.
Children explored different worlds through “Carnival & Circus” activities. Some became daring performers in “Big Top Challenges,” learning to balance and focus, while others transformed into crafty clowns, decorating hats, ties, and masks. The mini carnival came alive with “Graffiti Zone Signs,” festival flags, and “Paint-a-Pony Carousel Horses,” turning the space into a magical circus arena.
Creativity ran throughout the week. Children bounced and built juggling balls, crafted rainmakers, and made “Welcome to the Carnival” frames. Every craft encouraged hands-on creativity and allowed children to proudly display their work.
Special moments included the thrill of “Knock It Down! Tin Can Alley” and leaping through the “Ring of Fire,” where laughter and cheer echoed across the hall. Children shone in every activity, supporting each other and trying new challenges with pride and enthusiasm. By the end of the week, they had brought the circus to life, leaving with beaming smiles and creative masterpieces.
Summer Camp: A Season of Adventure
Summer 2025 was our biggest season yet, filled with sun, laughter, and nonstop creativity. Each week brought a new theme and a chance for children to explore, make friends, and try new activities.
In “Under the Sea / Water,” children dived into watery adventures with ocean-themed crafts such as fish mobiles and sea creature masks. They explored marine life through fun games and learned about the underwater world while enjoying water-filled activities that kept everyone laughing.
“Sport” week offered a mix of active challenges and alternative games. Children tried their aim with archery and Tchoukball matches, raced in laser tag, and enjoyed creative team challenges. Each activity encouraged focus, teamwork, and plenty of laughter.
During “Nature Explorers” week, children connected with the outdoors through scavenger hunts, wildlife spotting, and eco-friendly crafts like twig bats, bead snakes, and nature prints. They learned about animals and plants while creating something beautiful to take home.
“Bonkers for Science” sparked curiosity and problem-solving. Science experiments like Magic Milk Art mesmerised children as colours swirled and mixed, while engineering challenges such as Pompom Catapults encouraged creativity and hands-on learning. Children loved experimenting and seeing the results of their ideas in action.
Finally, “Fur & Feathered Friends” focused on animals and wildlife. Children crafted masks, built habitats, and joined themed games that brought the animal kingdom to life. The week encouraged imagination, care for nature, and pride in completing creative projects.
Highlights of the summer included the thrill of laser tag, shadow puppet shows, water games, and the pride of finishing intricate crafts. Each week was packed with laughter, discovery, and memorable moments that made this summer unforgettable.
October: Halloween Camp
October closed the year with a spooktacular week of creativity, laughter, and imaginative fun. Children arrived ready to explore the world of “Halloween,” taking part in crafts, games, and team challenges that kept energy high and imaginations flowing.
Children explored themed activities. Some created “Spider Web Obstacle Courses,” while others crafted haunted houses or spooky mobiles in “Creative Halloween” projects. Younger children made spider web lollipop sticks, spooky finger puppets, and cotton bud skeletons, while older children designed pumpkin faces, Frankenstein heads, and graveyard nature collages. Partner and group activities encouraged teamwork and collaboration, and big collaborative projects let children proudly see their creations come to life.
Special moments included bursts of excitement during Nerf battles, the thrill of laser tag and archery, and children navigating spooky obstacle courses with focus and determination. Crafts like ghostly bubble prints, spooky witch wands, and Halloween lanterns gave children the chance to express themselves while developing confidence and fine motor skills. By the end of the week, children had enjoyed a perfect mix of creativity, adventure, and friendship, ending the year on a high note.
